On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, Orme School of Arizona Head of School, Alyce Brownridge attended a meeting at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce to hear Governor Jan Brewer give her 2010 State of the State address.

Alyce was quoted in the Prescott news regarding the Governor's speech. She stated that she, "appreciates the Governor's commitment to sustainability and desire to improve educational opportunities and broaden business opportunities throughout the state, as outlined in the State of the State address."
